“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 7:21
My friends, have you already entered the Kingdom of God?
Maybe you're still standing at the door. Maybe you're on the way.
Either way, you're heading in the right direction. You're on the right path.
The door is in sight. But don’t be fooled — it’s narrow. Small. Low. You’ll have to bow down to pass through it — with humility. And once you enter, you'll need to stay the course, because the road ahead is tight and demanding.
Jesus warns us in Matthew 7:13:
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
There are no shortcuts. No benches to rest on. No comfort zones.
It’s a path of growth — a constant call to holiness.
“But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do.”
— 1 Peter 1:15
But don’t be discouraged. The Lord will give you what you need, one day at a time. And believe me — it’s worth it. This path leads to eternity.
God had a plan from the beginning. His plan of salvation came through Jesus Christ.
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
— John 14:6
So yes, we must repent. Yes, we must obey.
We must call on the blood of Christ, ask for forgiveness, bow down, and humble ourselves before Him.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
— 1 John 1:9
Repentance isn't a one-time act. It's a posture of the heart — one we renew throughout our walk with the Lord.
“Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
— 2 Peter 1:10–11
Yes, there are conditions to enter the Kingdom. But they’re not impossible for those who truly want in.
So don’t neglect the Word. It speaks louder than any sermon. Read it. Meditate on it. Take it seriously.
